Game developer Evolution has announced an extended exclusive partnership with PlayStar through which it will continue to offer live casino gaming on PlayStar’s New Jersey online casino.

Evolution COO Marcus Huber said in a statement that the company is excited to continue its relationship with Evolution, which offers live gaming in New Jersey through its Evolution and Ezugi brands.

“With the launch of their dedicated ‘Home of Live’ app, PlayStar is helping drive greater awareness of the Live Casino vertical and showcasing its full potential to the U.S. market,” Huber said. “We look forward to supporting their growth with the very best in Live Casino entertainment from both Evolution and Ezugi.”

Evolution continues its US iGaming influence

The past few months have been crucial ones for Evolution. The company announced Ezugi would become its second live-dealer division. Both Ezugi and Evolution run their live table games from Evolution’s Atlantic City studio.

Additionally, Evolution plans to launch an Ezugi live-dealer in Michigan in 2026.

Evolution CEO Jacob Claesson said the Ezugi launch is an “important step” in its North American expansion.

“Ezugi’s distinctive portfolio complements Evolution’s world-leading game shows and live casino range, enabling operators to deliver an even richer, more varied live gaming experience tailored to U.S. players,” Claesson said.

In August, the company launched its flagship live game show, Crazy Time, in Connecticut. Just a few days before that, Evolution debuted Ice Fishing, one of several live game shows the company provides.

Evolution’s growth extends beyond North America’s borders, too. In July, it launched Brazil’s first live casino studio and did the same in the Philippines in June.

New Jersey is a thriving iGaming market

Evolution’s push to expand its offerings in New Jersey is characteristic of online casino operators, as the state is a gold mine of iGaming revenue.

This past month, New Jersey online casinos generated the most revenue in the history of the state, tallying $260.3 million and pushing the year-to-date total past $2 billion. The previous high was $248.4 million, achieved this past August.
