Will New Jersey’s iGaming revenue hit $3B for the first time?
As the state heads into the fall and winter months, one number will likely be on the minds of New Jersey online casino operators and regulators: $3 billion.
The state’s online casinos have never generated more than $3 billion in a year. Can they do it in 2025? It’s possible, but unlikely. Online gaming would need to post 10% growth each month through the end of the year to surpass $3 billion.
That said, New Jersey online casinos are on track to surpass 2024’s record total revenue of $2.4 billion by the end of November. Based on PlayUSA’s projections, New Jersey iGaming could finish the year with nearly $2.9 billion in revenue.
Even if the state doesn’t hit the coveted $3 billion mark this year, historical trends suggest it should easily do so in 2026.
