Fanatics Betting and Gaming recently introduced its sportsbook in Virginia, continuing its expansion across the United States.
This is coming on the back of its acquisition of PointsBet US, entering a new chapter in its growth strategy and extending its presence to seven states. Virginia becomes the latest addition to Fanatics’ market share, joining Ohio, Maryland, Kentucky, West Virginia, Tennessee, and Massachusetts.
Customers who were using PointsBet in Virginia will seamlessly transition to the Fanatics Sportsbook without any loss of data. Every bettor’s betting profile will remain fully intact throughout the migration process.
Existing PointsBet users can access their Fanatics account using their usual username and password without any changes. Their reward points, account balance, and preferred gaming settings will also stay the same.
New customers have the option to get the Fanatics Sportsbook app on either iOS or Android. The sportsbook offers users access to bet on various sports betting markets and a diverse pool of betting types for them to leverage in their favor. The Fanatics bonus code will also unlock terrific welcome offers.
Fanatics Sportsbook offers the ‘FanCash – The Current of Sport’ program within its loyalty structure. Through this initiative, users with accumulated FanCash can either turn them into Bonus Bets, or even better, utilize them to buy their beloved team’s merchandise from the sports apparel and fan gear platform.
Fanatics provides users the opportunity to earn up to 5% FanCash on same-game parlay bets, 3% on parlay bets, and 1% on straight bets and odds boosts.
The Virginia launch announcement comes less than a week after Fanatics went live in West Virginia. In addition to this, the operator began a pilot run last week for its new online casino. The online casino is integrated within the Fanatics Sportsbook platform, and it offers an array of slot titles and classic table games like Blackjack and Roulette.
Fanatics Teams Up with Paysafe
Fanatics made a recent announcement about their expanded partnership portfolio, officially teaming up with Paysafe as their payment partner. This payment gateway platform is a key element within the operator’s broader sportsbook project.
Paysafe’s collaboration involves handling payments through both conventional card transactions and selected alternative methods. This exclusive offer will cater to users residing in five specific states: Ohio, Tennessee, Maryland, Kentucky, and Massachusetts.
Deposits and withdrawals can be made using debit cards and APMs, but bettors also have the option to utilize Paysafecash, an online cash solution from Paysafe that relies on barcodes.
After acquiring PointsBet US, Fanatics gained approval to operate in eight states: Pennsylvania, Iowa, West Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Kansas, Colorado, and Virginia in September. Subsequently, in October, they expanded their operations by acquiring PointsBet’s operation in two additional states: Wyoming and New York.
The full acquisition of PointsBet’s US operations is pending finalization, while PointsBet plans to maintain its presence in active states like Michigan, Indiana, Louisiana, Ohio, and Illinois. Fanatics maintains the process is proceeding as planned and anticipates meeting the projected timeline for subsequent completions.
