As millions of viewers prepare to return to the sun-soaked drama of Love Island USA Season 8, a new online slot game has arrived to capitalize on the flirting, strategy, recouplings, and dramatic text messages that have made the franchise a global phenomenon.
The new game, Love Island Unlocked, launched June 1 through FanDuel Casino and Mohegan Digital. The release was timed to arrive one day before the Season 8 premiere of Love Island USA, which debuted June 2, ahead of the summer viewing season.
An online slot inspired by Love Island’s biggest moments
Love Island Unlocked was designed around recognizable moments and storylines from the TV series.
Players can trigger special features inspired by villa events, including “Bombshell in the Villa,” “I’ve Got a Text!,” “Dumping Night” and the fan favorite “Casa Amor.” Each feature is integrated into gameplay and unlocks different bonuses and rewards.
One of the game’s standout features is Select A Character, which allows players to choose their islander experience before spinning the reels. FanDuel described it as a first-of-its-kind feature within its slots portfolio.

This game was developed through a collaboration between FanDuel Casino, ITV Studios and ITV’s gaming division, Zoo 55. Development was handled by White Hat Gaming.
Adding to the promotion, Love Island USA host Ariana Madix is serving as the lead ambassador for the launch. Madix described the partnership as a natural fit given its alignment with the show’s summer return.
In a PRNewswire release, Daniele Phillips, senior vice president of marketing at FanDuel Casino, said the company’s priority is ensuring players have something new to discover.

FanDuel Casino has launched Love Island Unlocked across several regulated iGaming markets, including:
- New Jersey
- Pennsylvania
- West Virginia
- Michigan
Connecticut, however, occupies a unique position in the rollout.
Mohegan Digital, the real-money online casino division of the Mohegan Tribe, partnered with FanDuel to offer Love Island Unlocked as a permanent exclusive within the Mohegan Sun Online Casino mobile app and desktop platform.
As a result, Connecticut players can access the game through Mohegan Sun Online Casino as the state’s exclusive destination for the title.
FanDuel adds $500,000 promotional prize pool
FanDuel is supporting the launch with a June promotion featuring a $500,000 prize pool.
Players can receive free reward box drops by logging in and playing the new slot.
The promotion also included the Ultimate Island Giveaway sweepstakes, where one winning pair will receive a luxury trip for two to Fiji, home of the real-life Love Island USA villa.
