Traders have been watching monthly streaming numbers for a while, and with the Super Bowl behind us, there’s one artist the world is keeping a close eye on. Bad Bunny performed at the Super Bowl halftime show this past weekend, and most would expect his streams to skyrocket.

But on Kalshi, Bruno Mars is still ahead of Bad Bunny in the market for the most monthly streams by the end of February. Mars sits at 82%, compared with Bad Bunny’s 19%. That may surprise many, especially after Bunny’s headline-grabbing performance, but the market seems to think otherwise.

Will the U.S. confirm alien life by 2027?

Here’s a fun one: “Will the U.S. confirm that aliens exist by 2027?” While it may sound far-fetched, discussion of extraterrestrials has grown over the past five years. Some may not know that the Pentagon and the Department of Defense released three videos of what are described as UAPs (unidentified aerial phenomena) in 2020.

The videos confirmed the leaked footage was real, though they did not explain. The investigation continues, but 13% of traders believe the U.S. will publicly confirm the existence of aliens. Skeptical traders, however, make up 87%.

Pebble Beach Pro-Am winner

Golf season is ramping up, with the Waste Management tournament wrapping up last weekend and the Pebble Beach Pro-Am approaching. Traders are already making predictions on who will win.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is currently favored at 24%, despite a poor showing at the Waste Management event. Rory McIlroy trails in second at 6%. With such a massive field of golfers and no clear dominant player like Tiger Woods in the 2000s, predicting who will hit a hot streak—or falter—is tricky.

Netflix vs. Paramount

Two months ago, Netflix announced it would acquire Warner Bros. for $82.7 billion. That didn’t stop Paramount from attempting a hostile takeover, offering more than $30 per share, roughly $108.4 billion.

Some assumed Paramount might have a shot, but Netflix still expects its deal to close by April 2026. Currently, more than $1 million is on the line in the market: Netflix stands at 52% and Paramount at 33%. It looks like Netflix has the deal in hand, but traders aren’t entirely convinced.

Winter Olympics predictions

With the Winter Olympics underway, traders are jumping in to predict which country will take home the most gold medals. Norway is the overwhelming favorite at 89%, followed by the U.S. at 9%. So far, Norway’s dominance in this year’s games has left little doubt in the market’s mind.
