Microbetting and micro-markets are still part of the new Betr Sportsbook, but Ohio and Virginia users will now find traditional markets like moneyline, point spread, and over/unders, according to the company.

Betr announced the soft launch of its new-look sportsbook on Thursday. Users will find Same-Game Parlays (SGP), Same-Game Parlays Plus (SGP+), player props, futures, and exotics now.

The company also laid out plans for future Betr Sportsbook markets in its release:

Betr Sportsbook has temporary licenses to join the list of Maryland sports betting apps and the Indiana sports betting market. Launches are planned “in the coming months.”

The company also applied for a:

Betr acquired the Chameleon platform from Fans Unite in May 2023. The company plans to use Chameleon as the foundation for its traditional sportsbook.

‘Group Mode’ for the Betr Picks App Joins New Betr Sportsbook

Betr Picks also went live with “Group Mode” for their Betr Picks app in Florida and Massachusetts on Thursday. The “picks” format allows users to make “More” or “Less” guesses based on a player’s stats. Some states have blocked peer-vs.-house pick ’em formats because they resemble the prop bets users find at traditional sportsbooks.

The fantasy sports pick ’em product’s peer-to-peer format allows users to compete against one another, however. Group Mode allows Betr to access 33 states plus Washington, D.C.

Betr Picks will be “launched imminently” in Virginia, Arizona, Tennessee, Missouri, Alabama, West Virginia, New Hampshire, and Delaware, according to the company.

“We are thrilled to launch Group Mode for Betr Picks and to soft launch the new Betr Sportsbook,” Betr founder and CEO Joey Levy said. “Today’s two product launches represent an important inflection point for Betr – Betr Picks will now be available to 65% of the US population, enabling us to welcome millions of new sports fans to Betr for the first time.”

Meanwhile, Levy said the new Betr Sportsbook reflects the company’s growth plans for the online sports betting industry.

“Significant product improvements are on the way across both Picks and Sportsbook, but we are proud of the quick progress we have made here,” he said.
