After three straight losing weeks to start the season – including back-to-back weeks of just five winners – consensus plays have tallied four straight weeks hitting at least 50%. The run includes two standouts – a 13-2-1 performance in Week 4 and another in double-digit win territory this past week.

New Leaders

Kalen Carlisle (Wynn) – one of six contestants who picked 11 Week 7 winners – has put a head in front in the season-long Bookies Battle standings.

At 64-41 for the year, Kalen is a game ahead of industry stalwarts Jason Scott (BetMGM) and Jay Rood (Bally Bet).

Our second-quarter mini-contest leaderboard shows Eric Lepard (Wynn) in first place with 21 winners between Weeks 6 and 7, with Rood trailing by just a game.

Two weeks remain in the second-quarter contest, the winner of which gets $500 plus a spot in the playoff portion of the contest, where there’s another $2,000 at stake.

NFL Week 8 Contest Lines

Five point spreads on the Week 8 slate sit on ‘3’, according to our contest lines, the most key number in NFL betting. Line movement in either direction on any of these games by Thursday’s picks deadline figures to attract value hunters.

We’re also seeing three games priced at 10.5, including the Bills spotting the most points an Aaron Rodgers-led Packers team has ever been gifted by the betting market.

Five more games are listed inside a field goal.
