The NFL Wild Card picks are in for Gaming Today’s Bookies Battle. We’ll review what our contestants have selected across the six NFL playoff games this weekend.
Three games are split down the middle, with six out of the 11 contestants landing on one side. For one of the matchups, 91% of our bookies selected one side of the spread, but our regular season winner went a different direction.
Consensus Picks for Wild Card Round
- Browns -2.5 at Texans | CLE with 55% of picks
- Dolphins at Chiefs -3.5 | KC with 91% of picks
- Steelers +10.5 at Bills | PIT with 55% of picks
- Packers at Cowboys -7.5 | DAL with 64% of picks
- Rams +3.5 at Lions | LAR with 73% of picks
- Eagles -2.5 at Buccaneers | PHI with 55% of picks
The Chiefs are the highest consensus pick among our 11 playoff contestants, with ten looking for Kansas City to cover the 3.5-point spread. Duane Colucci (Rampart Casino), our regular-season Bookies Battle champion, is the lone bookie going the opposite direction with the Dolphins. Should the Texans win or lose by less than a field goal, Duane will have the early lead after the first night.
On Sunday, the highest consensus pick is the Los Angeles Rams, who received 3.5 points on the road in Detroit. Once again, Duane is going in the opposite direction with the Lions covering, as is Brian MacGillivray (Barley’s Casino) and Louie G Martin (Casablanca/virgin River).
The three matchups that see a split down the middle are the opening game between the Browns and Texans, the Bills hosting the Steelers early Sunday afternoon, and the final game between the Eagles and Buccaneers on Monday Night. Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia receive the extra contestant on that side of the spread.

Other Notes From the Wild Card Round Picks
Duane Colucci selected HOU, MIA, PIT, DAL, DET, and PHI on his card. Runner-up Atif Chaudry (Penn Interactive) has three different selections by comparison, going with KC, GB, and LAR instead.
Atif and Michael Piranio (Mandalay Bay) have the same six selections on their card this weekend with HOU, KC, PIT, GB, LAR, and PHI. The same goes for Brian Edwards (Palace Station) and Tim Nortz (Northern Quest) with CLE, KC, BUF, DAL, LAR, and TB.
The consensus picks go along with the favorites except for Pittsburgh (+10) and the Los Angeles Rams (+3.5). Both of those have just 55% of the selections.
Of the six contestants that picked the Browns to cover, only Nick Smith selected the Packers +7.5 against the Cowboys. All three bookies that selected the Lions -3.5 to cover also picked the Cowboys -7.5.
Good luck to all our contestants this weekend!
