More legal bets will be placed this weekend on college basketball than at any other time in the history of the last weekend of the NCAA tournament. April, Shmapril…bettors across the nation have more options in states offering sports betting than ever before, and PointsBet will host a series of live stream events to add to the experience, titled LIVE Insights for LIVE Bettors.

“We’re always aiming to reimagine the sports viewing landscape, and the Final Four provides a prime opportunity for PointsBet to explore how we can take the live betting experience to the next level,” Kyle Christensen, Chief Marketing Officer at PointsBet USA, said in a statement from the sportsbook.

Simultaneous to the start of the Final Four games playing on Saturday, April 2, PointsBet will offer live events that include insight from behavioral specialists who will analyze the on-court behavior of the teams and make recommendations. Kansas will face Villanova at 6:09 PM ET on TBS, and the Duke/North Carolina matchup follows at 8:49 PM ET on the same channel.

The LIVE Insights for LIVE Bettors streams from PointsBet will include Northwestern University Professor of Sports Psychology Dr. Michele Kerulis, body language expert Scott Rouse, and former NCAA and NBA player Carlos Boozer in a roundtable with PointsBet Head Oddsmaker Jay Croucher.

What will you see in the live stream? The group will discuss the nature of sports psychology and how it impacts performance, while also offering analysis of players in the games based on body language and other behavioral factors. The information will be of special interest to live bettors and those who are thinking of getting into live betting.

PointsBet offers a range of live betting options from their popular sportsbook app, which is available in Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Virginia.

Boozer, who was a member of Duke’s 2001 NCAA championship team, may have extra keen interest in the thoughts of the experts as it regards to the Final Four matchups: he placed a $50,000 bet with PointsBet Sportsbook on the Blue Devils to win the tournament. Should his alma mater win Saturday and on Monday in the National Championship Game, Boozer’s wager would return $600,000.

LIVE Insights for LIVE Bettors stream is scheduled for 5:55 PM ET on the PointsBet Instagram and Twitter accounts. A second stream will go live at halftime to look at the trends in the game.
