When the Memphis Grizzlies open their 2021-22 NBA season against the Cavaliers on Wednesday, the new WynnBET Sports Bar will also debut in FedExForum. It’s the second such sports bar to open in a sports facility under the WynnBET brand.

The WynnBET Sports Bar is located adjacent to Beale Street, on the north side of FedExForum. It offers more than two dozen TV screens and a full kitchen and food menu, as well as a bar. Patrons can order drinks during Grizzlies games, but will not be able to order food while the NBA team is operating concessions. Only ticketed fans can enter the bar during NBA games, and per Tennessee law, all who enter must prove they have been vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus.

A WynnBET Sports Bar opened at Ford Field in Detroit, home of the NFL’s Lions, earlier this season. But unlike the one in Detroit, the one in Memphis will be open to customers even when games are not being played. The kitchen will operate with a sports bar-style menu on days and evenings when the Grizzlies are not playing at home.

On Tuesday, former Grizzlies player Zach Randolph participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the WynnBet Sports Bar, which is expected to be a popular destination for sports fans in a city known for its love for food, music, and sports.

Last season, the Grizzlies posted their first winning record in five seasons and made the playoffs. The team is formed around a young core that includes point guard Ja Morant, the second overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, small forward Dillon Brooks, and shooting guard Desmond Bane, a first-round pick in 2020 NBA who is coming off his rookie season.

FedExForum is also home to the University of Memphis Tigers basketball team, which competes in the American Athletic Conference. The WynnBET Sports Bar will operate under the same guidelines when the Tigers are hosting an NCAA game.

Sports Betting in Tennessee

What type of betting can visitors partake in at the new WynnBET Sports Bar at FedExForum in Memphis? Currently, Tennessee offers only mobile betting via licensed and regulated sportsbook apps. So, fans 21 or older will be able to place wagers on games in the WynBET Sports Bar just as they would anywhere within the state.

According to the Memphis Grizzlies and WynnBET, the partners may offer Grizzlies NBA betting promotions and other contests at the venue during the season. Visitors can also expect occasional prizes.

The new WynnBET Sports Bar will feature menu items like “Southern Fried Cheese Tots,” as well as “Memphis Hot Chicken Dip,” in addition to burgers, sandwiches, and other traditional bar fare. According to The Daily Memphian, the dessert menu includes an intriguing item dubbed “Big E Parfait,” with banana pudding and peanut butter cream that was one of Memphis-native Elvis Presley’s favorite treats.
