AGS’ Bonus Spin Xtreme is available online in four states and two Canadian provinces through an exclusive partnership with Rush Street Interactive.
AGS plans to expand the progressive system to additional partners in 2027, while its interactive division has also entered Virginia’s iLottery market.
The launches are part of AGS Interactive’s strategy to offer games across online and land-based channels, according to a report from CDC Gaming. Vice president Zoe Ebling says the company is bringing casino-tested products online while exploring how those experiences connect with casino-floor play.
Bonus Spin Xtreme Expands Beyond the Casino Floor
Bonus Spin Xtreme launched in land-based casinos in 2020 and has since recorded more than 1,000 installed units, according to the report.
The product offers a side bet connected to a progressive prize. Ebling said the addition has broadened the audience for AGS table games.
“For example, the addition of Bonus Spin Xtreme to our table products has actually changed the demographic of who’s playing our table games,” she told CDC Gaming.
AGS reports strong results from online table placements even when iGaming table minimums are below $1. Ebling described Bonus Spin Xtreme as helping table-game economics, but the report does not provide product-specific hold figures or player win probabilities.
For players, the base table-game wager and the optional progressive side bet are distinct parts of the offering. The low table minimums cited in the report do not establish the price of the side bet.
AGS Builds Its Online Table and Slots Portfolio
AGS has developed more than 100 real-money online gaming themes, with more than 50 online games also available in land-based casinos. Its Single Deck Blackjack received this year’s Eilers & Krejcik Gaming award for top-performing new online table game.
Another planned addition is 3 Dice Football, an American football-based alternative to craps intended for both online and land-based operators. Ebling described it as the first of its kind in the online space.
On slots, AGS is drawing from games already tested in physical casinos.
“Titles that can stand the challenge of the land-based arena are games that we want to bring online,” Ebling said.
Virginia iLottery Adds Another Distribution Channel
AGS Interactive entered the iLottery market in August when the Virginia Lottery launched Desperado’s Delight. The game involves shooting a slingshot and earning prizes by hitting bottles or cans on a fence rail.
Ebling called iLottery a complementary business segment for the division.
