If you love soccer and enjoy a luxury vacation, you might want to check your phone right now.
BetMGM and Marriott Bonvoy have launched a joint contest called the World’s Game Sweepstakes, giving 10 lucky fans a shot at a VIP soccer weekend in New York City — complete with premium hotel stays, live match access, and hospitality perks.
The sweepstakes is open now and runs through June 21, 2026. Giving eligible BetMGM and Marriott Bonvoy customers several weeks to enter for a chance to attend SI Beyond the Pitch, an exclusive event series organized by Authentic Live and Medium Rare.
Matt Prevost, chief revenue officer at BetMGM, called the event a “once-in-a-generation moment.”
Inside the star-studded NYC event
The centerpiece of the promotion is SI Beyond the Pitch, a nationwide event series built around this summer’s global soccer festivities for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The grand finale takes place July 18 in New York City at the historic Cipriani venue, where athletes, celebrities, fans and industry personalities will gather to celebrate the world’s most popular sport.
“This summer is going to be historic for soccer fans, and through our collaboration with BetMGM, we’re bringing members to one of the most coveted events of the season.
SI Beyond the Pitch in New York City puts them right at the center of the action, and it’s exactly the kind of experience this partnership was built to deliver,” said Jamie Russo, vice president of global financial partnerships at Marriott International, in a BetMGM press release.
The event already has two notable performers attached to its entertainment lineup: Grammy Award-winning rapper 50 Cent and internationally acclaimed DJ Diplo.
For many fans, getting access to an event of this caliber is a challenge in itself. BetMGM and Marriott Bonvoy are offering winners front-row access to the full experience.
Breaking down the grand prize
The sweepstakes will produce 10 grand prize winners, each of whom may bring one guest.
The package includes:
- VIP access to the SI Beyond the Pitch celebration in New York City
- A three-night stay at the Moxy Lower East Side hotel in Manhattan
- An exclusive dinner experience at L’Artusi Supper Club
- Round-trip travel to New York City or $1,000 in withdrawable bonus funds to help cover travel costs, depending on the entry period
Winners are not simply receiving a ticket — they’re getting a full New York City weekend built around soccer, entertainment and nightlife.
30 runners-up and guaranteed points
Even if participants miss out on the grand prize, additional rewards are available.
Thirty runners-up will each receive a $100 bonus bet through BetMGM. Additionally, everyone who earns at least one qualifying entry during an entry period will receive 2,500 Marriott Bonvoy points — meaning participants don’t have to win the trip to walk away with something valuable.
How to enter the World’s Game Sweepstakes
Players must first link their BetMGM and Marriott Bonvoy accounts. Once linked, they can opt into the promotion through the BetMGM Sportsbook app or BetMGM’s website.
From there, every qualifying sports bet of at least $10 earns one sweepstakes entry. Participants can earn up to 25 entries per entry period, increasing their chances of selection. Winners will be drawn weekly throughout the promotional window.
A few restrictions apply: The promotion is not available in Nevada, New York, Ontario, or Puerto Rico. Bonus bets awarded through the promotion expire after seven days and cannot be withdrawn as cash.
