ESPN BET Now Live In New York Sports Betting Market

Big news for Big Apple bettors: ESPN BET is now live in the New York sports betting market.

“We’re excited to launch ESPN BET in New York and introduce our sportsbook to the largest regulated online sports wagering market in North America,” PENN Entertainment’s Chief Technology Officer Aaron LaBerge told Gaming Today. “We look forward to providing New Yorkers with an unparalleled, integrating betting and media experience.”

Following the soft rollout, ESPN BET is now fully available to sports betting fans, with NY bonus offers and special deals ready to claim.

ESPN BET Enhancements Now Available In New York

ESPN BET is the newest addition to the growing collection of online sportsbooks in New York, joining other big names such as BetMGM and Fanatics.

Ahead of the 2024-25 NFL betting season, ESPN BET unleashed a bevy of product improvements to bettors. New York sports fans can now take full advantage of the upgraded portfolio, which includes:

  • A dedicated parlay lounge that allows players to find bets, add legs, and filter odds to build parlays.
  • More Same Game Parlay (SGP) options and variety
  • New and improved profit boosts
  • Newly-minted referral program to reward customers
  • Early win payouts
  • The ability to add a bet to your betslip directly from the ESPN Media App

All of these changes are united by a refreshed and refined home page, which showcases featured markets, trending bets, and the option to toggle dark mode.

ESPN GameCast Integration

ESPN BET users can now seamlessly switch between an event page and the ESPN app. This allows bettors to look up key stats, information, and updates about a game or player before placing a bet. Plus, games on ESPN networks are easily accessible within the app via direct links. Any games not broadcast by the ESPN group will contain details about where and how to watch.

Penn Entertainment’s New CTO Is Optimistic About the Future

Aaron LaBerge joined PENN Entertainment as Chief Technology Officer in July, following a two-decade career at Disney. In an article posted to LinkedIn, LaBerge expressed his excitement for what lies ahead:

“All of this, however, is just the start; football season will be one of our first opportunities to engage fans with an updated set of features. New capabilities will continue to be rolled out during the fall and into the new year.”
