NFL fans and bettors are begging for improved Thursday Night Football action when the Cardinals host the Saints. We won’t make any promises. However, our Week 7 TNF player props and touchdown bets feature more star power than the previous two TNF matchups.

At the very least, bettors can scour sportsbooks for their favorite DeAndre Hopkins bets. The three-time All-Pro returns after a six-game suspension. He makes it into our Week 7 TNF player props and touchdown picks.

Thursday Night Football Week 7 Props & TD Bets

Kyler Murray Over 0.5 Interceptions (-120, BetMGM)

Murray has thrown a pick in four of six games this season. The Saints defense has only one interception, but it has the players capable of creating big plays. Murray gets DeAndre Hopkins back, but it’s unreasonable to expect him to be in midseason form. Meanwhile, he’ll be without Marquise Brown for an extended period of time. It’s certainly not an ideal time for the short week.

DeAndre Hopkins TD (+160, Caesars)

Anyway you slice it, the return of Hopkins is a positive development for the Cardinals.

Hopkins probably won’t play a full complement of snaps. However, it’s reasonable to expect him on the field in key moments, i.e. red zone situations. Hopkins has enough rapport with Murray to serve as a touchdown threat at plus-money on Thursday night.

More Picks: NFL Week 7 Predictions

Alvin Kamara Under 102.5 Rushing Plus Receiving Yards (-115, DraftKings)

The Saints offense is in flux with both Andy Dalton and Jameis Winston ailing. Add that to the Saints making a lengthy road trip on a short week, and it’s fair to expect an offensive struggle. The circumstances may force Saints offensive coordinator to get creative, both in play-calling and personnel usage. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Mark Ingram and Taysom Hill called upon to shoulder the load.

Early wagering: NFL Week 7 betting trends spotted at DraftKings

Zach Ertz Over 47.5 Receiving Yards (-117, Caesars)

Ertz is second on the Cardinals in targets, and he will continue to be utilized heavily, especially with Marquise Brown out for several weeks. Ertz will eventually cede target share to Hopkins, but it may take a week or two before Hopkins has his legs completely underneath him.

Wil Lutz Over 1.5 Field Goals Made (-105, DraftKings)

Even though the Saints are banged up and traveling on a short week, it’s difficult to imagine them being completely shut down offensively, especially by the Cardinals. The going may be rougher than usual given the circumstances, though, and that’s why we like Lutz to get some reps on Thursday night. His accuracy (9 of 13) has been spotty in the early going, but he’s attempted at least two field goals in four of six contests this season.
