bet365 Launches in Iowa, Enters its Fifth US Market

bet365 made its heavily-anticipated mobile sports betting debut in Iowa on Monday, putting the global gambling giant in its fifth American state.

With the launch through a market access agreement with Casino Queen Marquette, bet365 is currently live in Colorado, Iowa, New Jersey, Ohio, and Virginia.

The company’s most recent market entry was in Colorado in September.

“We’re thrilled to work with bet365 to provide players with an in-demand and trusted source for safe online wagering,” Casino Queen Marquette Sean Bateman said in a release. “It’s an exciting time for our guests and passionate sports fans in Iowa, who will benefit from fantastic site features and attractive offers.”

bet365 Launches in Iowa with Special Offers

In conjunction with the launch, new and eligible bet365 customers can take advantage of a “Bet $1, Get $365” bonus bet promotion. bet365 entered a multi-year deal with Casino Queen Marquette in 2021.

Massachusetts had been the expected fifth market for bet365, but the company retracted its application earlier this year. The decision to forego a mobile and online license there came after its market access partner, Raynham Park, announced a retail deal with Caesars and the news that profit fell by more than 90% year over year because of the exorbitant costs of marketing in new states.

Sports betting launched in Massachusetts on March 10.

Iowa Part of Expanding bet365 base

In April, bet365 and the Colorado Rockies announced a three-year deal to brand in Coors Field.

According to a release, “The iconic signage of bet365 will have a front-row seat in the form of an outfield wall sign, a rotational signage behind home plate and a static signage placement on the first baseline. This signage is also visible on TV for viewers at home, as well as on the Rockies TV broadcast with pre-game and in-game features during each game.”
