While some jackpots take years to reach seven figures, Hard Rock Bet’s New Jersey Mega Jackpot appears to be making a habit of it.

The operator announced that its Mega Jackpot has surpassed $1 million for the third time since launching in the Garden State earlier this year. More importantly, the jackpot remains unclaimed, meaning the prize pool continues to grow with every qualifying spin.

At this pace, New Jersey could soon see the platform crown its third instant millionaire.

Progressive slots jackpot created two millionaires in 2026

The latest climb past $1 million follows two major wins in recent months.

The first millionaire was Deborah S. of South Plainfield, New Jersey, who won on May 11 while playing Bag the Swag: Hold & Win. Her jackpot totaled $1,942,272.47, triggered on a $1 spin.

Less than a month later, another player hit the Mega Jackpot while playing Hot Rod Hog, a real-money online slot by Bragg. That winner collected $1,937,382.05 on June 4 after wagering just $2 per spin.

Now, the progressive slot jackpot has once again surpassed the $1 million mark. At the current rate, another massive payout may not be far away.

NJ’s progressive prize resets to $100,00 after each win

Hard Rock Bet’s New Jersey Mega Jackpot launched in April with a $100,000 seed amount. Earlier this spring, the jackpot climbed beyond $1.5 million and eventually approached $1.95 million before the first major win reset the prize pool.

After each Mega Jackpot win, the progressive resets to $100,000 and begins building again. So far, it has not taken long to regain momentum.

How Hard Rock Bet’s Mega Jackpot works

Players can opt in to the jackpot feature by contributing an additional $0.20 per spin. Each qualifying wager contributes to four separate progressive prize pools:

  • Mini Jackpot: The smallest and most frequently awarded tier. It starts at $10 and is designed for smaller, more frequent payouts.
  • Minor Jackpot: A step above the Mini Jackpot, this tier begins at $100 and offers larger prizes while still hitting relatively often.
  • Major Jackpot: Starting at $1,000, the Major Jackpot can grow into a substantial payout and is awarded less frequently than the lower tiers.
  • Mega Jackpot: The top prize tier starts at $100,000 in New Jersey and continues growing until a player triggers the jackpot.

Every qualifying spin contributes to all four jackpots simultaneously, giving players multiple chances to win with a single wager.

The jackpot network spans more than 4,300 eligible games on Hard Rock Bet’s New Jersey online casino platform, including titles such as:

  • Huff N More Puff
  • Cash Eruption
  • Cleopatra
  • Kick Drum Cash
  • Buffalo
  • Divine Fortune
  • Whitney Houston Slots

Bet size does not affect the odds of triggering the Mega Jackpot. A player wagering $1 has the same chance of winning as someone placing significantly larger bets. Deborah S.’s $1 spin demonstrated exactly that.

HRB pairs jackpot momentum with new-player rewards

Alongside the growing Mega Jackpot, Hard Rock Bet is also promoting a new-player casino offer in New Jersey. New customers can receive:

  • Up to $1,000 back in casino bonus credits
  • Plus 500 bonus spins

The offer requires a minimum $10 deposit to activate the bonus spins, which apply to Cash Eruption. The casino bonus is tied to a player’s net slot losses during the first 24 hours after signup and includes a 1x wagering requirement.

As the Mega Jackpot continues climbing, the added promotion could give new players another incentive to try their luck while chasing one of the platform’s progressive prizes.

Another online casino millionaire may be waiting in NJ

How high can the jackpot climb? Nobody knows.

What is certain is that every qualifying spin continues feeding the prize pool, and recent history suggests the jackpot may continue rising before the next winner emerges.

For real-money online casino players in NJ and MI, the possibility remains the same: An ordinary slot session could become another millionaire-making moment.

The only question is who will claim it next.
