It just got easier to bet on golf. The PGA Tour has partnered with theScore Bet in several ways, and in 2021 the Tour will start to include daily odds updates from theScore Bet within tournament live audio play-by-play.

As a result of this arrangement, theScore Bet will become an Official Betting Operator of the PGA Tour in the United States and Canada. They are the fifth Official Betting Operator for the PGA Tour in the US, and the first in Canada pending the enactment of enabling legislation and regulation, and receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals.

The partnership comes during prime golf seasons. The 2021 Masters and the odds that come with it are fast-approaching, giving PGA betting fans a lot to work with.

Partnership Details

The details of the partnership will result in theScore Bet odds being shared via SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio and across all PGA Tour digital platforms. The PGA will also grant theScore Bet rights to advertise with the Tour and its media partners, and also have video content rights for use on theScore media channels and theScore Bet apps.

“The PGA Tour has been an innovative, industry leader in sports betting and we’re excited to collaborate to enhance our integrated media and betting experience,” said Aubrey Levy, Senior VP of Marketing and Content for theScore in a statement released today.

Score Media is a Canadian company with licenses to operate in the United States currently in New Jersey, Colorado, Indiana, and Iowa.

As we reported earlier here on Gaming Today, theScore has secured market access to launch its online sports betting platform in Illinois via a partnership with Caesars Entertainment’s Harrah’s Joliet Hotel & Casino Property.  Once a license is approved, theScore Bet intends to launch in Illinois during the second half of 2021.
