Rutgers vs. Michigan State Betting Line: Point Spread, Total, Moneyline, Pick
NCAAF · Sat (11/12) @ 12:00pm ET
RUTG Rutgers | at | MSU Michigan State |
Ross-Ade Stadium, Lafayette, IN |
Then last week, MSU overachieved in a victory at Illinois, hanging on at the end to beat the then-16th-ranked Illini 23-15 as a 16.5-point underdog.
Rutgers (4-5 SU/4-4-1 ATS), meanwhile, had one of the stiffest defenses in the nation until getting walloped at home by Michigan 52-17 last week. But the Scarlet Knights did lead at halftime, which was an accomplishment because it was the first time the Wolverines trailed at intermission this season.
As far as defenses are concerned, Rutgers is still highly ranked at No. 18 and MSU is 106th.
In a low-scoring matchup, the visitors should stick close with a team that’s very likely to be short-handed.

Northwestern vs. Minnesota Betting Line: Point Spread, Total, Moneyline, Pick

NCAAF · Sat (11/12) @ 3:40pm ET
NWU Northwestern | at | MINN Minnesota |
Veterans Memorial Stadium, Troy, AL |
Minnesota, meanwhile, is 6-3 (5-4 ATS) but has feasted on relatively weak competition much of the year.
Also, the winningest quarterback in Gophers history, Tanner Morgan, was knocked out of last week’s 20-13 victory over Nebraska with an upper-body injury. With his status uncertain for Saturday, that point spread seems extra high.
Especially against a Northwestern team that lost only 21-7 to Ohio State last Saturday in viciously windy conditions. The Wildcats even outgained Buckeyes.
With a weather forecast calling for a wind chill temperature near single digits, it seems too much to ask Minnesota to go on a scoring binge.
