NJ Online Sports Betting Revenue Skyrockets in November

New Jersey online sports betting brought in $113.5 million in revenue in November, blowing past its October total of $75 million by 51.4% and marking the first time since the spring that revenue surpassed $100 million.

One significant factor to November’s pop is the number of Sundays. This year, November had five NFL betting Sundays compared to four in 2023.

November total online and retail revenue was third-highest this year

This past month’s revenue total for online and in-person sportsbooks was good in a year-to-date context in addition to month-over-month and year-over-year comparisons.

November was only the third time this year that revenue topped $100 million. Additionally, it was the first time online and retail sportsbooks surpassed the century mark since April.

What’s ahead for New Jersey online sportsbooks?

The winter months typically bring healthy sports betting revenue. For example, NJ sportsbooks turned in back-to-back months of at least $100 million in revenue in December 2023 and January 2024.

February tends to be slower because the NFL season ends and there are fewer days in the month. Revenue bounces back for March Madness and carries on through April.
