US online casino revenue growth slowed to 12% year-on-year in the third quarter of 2026, its weakest pace on record, according to data from Citizens.
FanDuel stayed on top of the online casino market at 25.1%, down from 26.6% in Q3 of 2025. The decline means FanDuel lost share in all three quarters this year.
Sports betting margins were flat for the quarter compared to last year, with a mixed bag of results across operators.
Online casino growth cools from 16%
The 12% year-on-year rate compares with 16% growth in each of the first two quarters of 2026. Citizens said the slowdown was in line with expectations.
DraftKings‘ iGaming share fell 2.1 percentage points to 22.2% year on year, but it rose from 20.9% in Q2. That was the operator’s first quarterly sequential increase in two years.
BetMGM‘s share also dropped 2.1 percentage points to 18.6%, its sixth straight quarter of decline. Caesars slipped to 6.4% from 7.1%.
Which operators saw growth?
Fanatics and bet365 both saw their shares grow 1.3 percentage points to 5.2% and 1.7%, respectively.
The growth for bet365 was helped by launches in Michigan and West Virginia.
BetRivers also saw its share grow to 7.4% from 6.8%.
