Week 1 NFL prop bets have been released! Thanks to our friends over at FanDuel, DraftKings, PointsBet, and BetMGM; most games have NFL player props available for week 1. This weekend is expected to break every record we have ever had for sports betting. With states like Arizona recently launching sports betting, expect player props to dominate the conversation as we lead up to Sunday.

NFL player props are (usually) big plus money opportunities where you are betting on a specific player to complete a milestone — whether it is over/under yards or to score a touchdown. Week 1 NFL player props are possibly the best sports betting opportunity we have today. Rather than play fantasy football or daily fantasy, sportsbooks are giving bettors the opportunity to bet on things that would normally be reserved for fantasy players.

Finally, it is highly recommended that bettors check out which games are expected to produce the most points. Oftentimes, the NFL player prop betting opportunities hang on the balance of game flow and the number of points scored in the game.

Cowboys vs. Buccaneers Player Prop Bets And TD Scorer Picks

Antonio Brown To Score A Touchdown +200 (FanDuel)

Do I like the guy? Not really. But do I believe that he and Tom Brady have the best chemistry of any of the other wide receivers? I most certainly do! Furthermore, Chris Godwin has a quadriceps injury which has been very ominous, we don’t know much about it. It sounds like he very well could be limited on Thursday giving even more value to Antonio Brown.

Under 1.5 Receptions Leonard Fournette +150 (DraftKings)

An argument can be made that Leonard Fournette is the third running back in terms of snaps this year. Ronald Jones was getting way more carries than Fournette in the preseason and Gio Bernard is their main pass-catching running back. I am expecting Gio to handle the James Whit role, while Fournette gets a few short-yard situational carries.

Week 1 NFL Player Prop And Yardage Bets

Patrick Mahomes Over 12.5 Rushing Yards -120 (DraftKings)

Mahomes is going to be under fire this entire game. The Cleveland Browns have one of the best pass rushes in the NFL and Mahomes loves running the football. 12.5 is a bargain considering he averaged 20.53 rushing yards per game. A huge opportunity here for Patrick Mahomes.

Tyrod Taylor Over 16.5 -115 (PointsBet)

I love QB rushing props! Tyrod Taylor has had a tough go of late in his career but his best skill is his legs. He can hit this prop with one run. It is one of my favorite rushing props of the evening and is probably going to be a parlay for me this weekend when each sportsbook is offering it.

Week 1 NFL Player Prop Bets: Anytime Touchdown Scorer Picks

Cole Beasley to score a touchdown +220 (BetMGM)

The Pittsburgh Steelers are a great defense but their secondary is severely overrated. I am expecting Josh Allen to tear this defense to bits and launch himself into MVP contention. Cole Beasley is one of his favorite targets, at +220 how could I say no?

Austin Ekeler to score a touchdown +110 (DraftKings)

I was — and still am — kind of surprised that this is plus money. Ekeler is the main running back of one of the most prolific offenses this season. Justin Herbert was an incredible performer this year and we already talked about him on our NFL futures bets and awards preview.
